If you’ve never been out to experience the Gilbert ArtWalk, there’s a lot you’ve been missing! Since September of 2011, artists have been bringing their best visual arts out to one of the most popular Gilbert events and showcasing their work for the public to see. Here’s more info on this great event that supports local artists and businesses.
The Gilbert Art Walk started in 2011 as an evening event. In 2012, Timelessbuttons, LLC, the organization that hosts the Gilbert ArtWalk coordinated with the GIlbert Farmers Market to bring a day of shopping, entertainment and art to the East Valley. Art forms include pottery, photography, jewelry, clothing, sculptures, prints, collages and children’s art products. Live music and dance performances also add to the ambiance.
When and Where to Find the Gilbert ArtWalk
The Gilbert ArtWalk now takes place on select Saturday mornings, beginning at 9 am and running until 1 pm at the Water Tower Plaza in downtown Gilbert, directly across from the Hale Theatre and within walking distance of several local restaurants, including Postino Wine Cafe, The Farmhouse Restaurant, Barrio Queen and several more. The event runs through the spring, and is held on the following dates this season:
- Oct 3rd & 17th
- Nov 7th, 14th & 28th (small business Saturday)
- Dec 5th, 12th & 19th
- Jan 2nd & 16th
- Feb 6th & 20th
- Mar 5th &19th

This is your chance to take in the mild weather and to support local artists showcasing their work while enjoying a great shopping experience! All of the artists involved in the event are licensed and approved by a jury selection process.
