Oh, the 80’s! Who could forget the era of pac-man, fanny packs and recording your favorite songs from the radio onto blank tapes? In celebration of this magically awkward decade, we’re bringing you stars with the best teeth from the 80’s. Here’s some of our favorites:
Alyssa Milano
In the hit series Who’s the Boss? which ran from 1984-1992, Milano played Samantha Micelli, the daughter of Tony Micelli, the retired baseball player who becomes a live-in housekeeper for an ad executive. In 1983, at 10 years old, Milano landed the role as Samantha, thanks to her great smile as a youngster and her natural Brooklyn accent. For eight years, America watched her grow up and keep the great smile all the way through.
Tom Selleck
Known best for his role as Thomas Magnum in Magnum, P.I., Selleck was the 80’s macho man best known for that ‘stache, but just beneath it was a great smile, as well. Magnum, P.I. which ran from 1980-88, told the adventures of a Hawaii-based private investigator. Selleck’s other major role in the 80’s was as Peter Mitchell in 1987’s Three Men and a Baby.
Ted Danson
Originally known as Sam Malone in Boston’s favorite TV bar known as Cheers, Danson was nominated for nine Emmy Awards for his portrayal of Malone, winning twice. After the show’s debut in 1982, Cheers ran for 11 years. Afterwards, Danson continued his television career as Dr. John Becker in Becker, but will be best remembered as the consummate ladies’ man with a winning smile.
Many of the fads from the 80’s have come and gone, but a great smile never goes out of style. If you’re wondering about cosmetic procedures to make your smile beautiful, give your dentist a call today!
