Dr. Junius Gibbons

Dr. Junius Gibbons graduated in 1977 with a double B.S. degree in microbiology and zoology from Brigham Young University. He then went on to the University of the Pacific Dental School and graduated cum laude in 1981. He was inducted into the TKO Dental Honor Society in 1979. He has been an active member of the Arizona Craniomandibular Study Group (TMJ/TMD) since 1991.

Dr. Gibbons is proud to show his commitment to ongoing education in dental practices and procedures for the benefit of his patients:

  • Awarded two-year postgraduate orthodontic CE certificate from American Straight Wire Orthodontic Association (ASWOA) in 1984
  • Awarded five-year postgraduate orthodontic CE certificate from
  • United States Dental Institute (USDI) in 1990
  • Certified in advanced cosmetic dentistry, smile design, and anterior porcelain veneers from Las Vegas Institute (LVI) in 2001
  • Completed certification exam from bio-research in use of joint vibration analysis, surface EMG readings, and computerized jaw tracking in the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ/TMD) in 2002
